The celebrity Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu MSP, gave an advice on the trending video of a Tourist guide, who in the course of entertaining his Tourists, lost his finger.
Fr. Kelvin on his Facebook Page on Monday, May 23, said: the story trending since yesterday is that this zoo Attendant was trying to impress tourists by placing his finger in a Lion’s mouth and he paid the ultimate price by leaving without the finger.
Here is the video of the Tourist guide touching simultaneously, the mouth of the Lion
Giving his advice, Fr. Kelvin said, "Dear friends, there is nobody that you need to impress unnecessarily. Those that truly care about you won't even allow you go through unnecessary danger just to impress them. I watched a longer video of it and I noticed that those he was trying to impress thought everything was part of the show until they saw that his finger was no longer there. You saw how they were still making videos of him? They would have still be making videos of him assuming the Lion was eating him."
He continued that, "In the real sense of the word, apart from your family and maybe one or two close friends, people don't really care like that. They are hailing you and you are drunk in your ego to impress them, when you enter into a mess, everybody will move on, but by then, your finger is gone."
Finally, he said we should be wise like the Serpent and gentle as the Dove.
